Caversham Coachworks is the leading independent vehicle repair centre in Berkshire and Central Oxfordshire. We are proud to be the only repair facility in the Reading area to be a Volkswagen Group paint & body centre specialists.

Local Community

We have been part of the Caversham Community for nearly 40 years and have been integrated into Abingdon since 2016. In both of the communities where we trade, we believe it is important to support local causes and to always be good neighbours.

Over the years we have lent our support to many events and causes, from supporting youth football, drama groups and schools to funding apprenticeships; we know the value of giving back to our communities.

Football Team Sponsorship

Outdoor exercise is important for the mental and physical health of young people, but sadly many youth teams find the cost of kit to be prohibitive. We’ve therefore helped a number of local clubs over the last few years.

Choose Caversham

As our home for many years, we are proud to part of the Choose Caversham initiative, working with and supporting independent business, encouraging people to shop local and to make the most of the incredible facilities on their doorstep.

Supporting Local School Fayres

We support three of our local schools, as well as Caversham Park Theatre, with donations for raffle prizes at their regular Summer and Christmas Fayre’s as well as advertising in their programmes.

Eco-Friendly

The vehicle industry has traditionally been wasteful and responsible for harmful products entering the environment. However, at Caversham Coachworks in both our Reading and Abingdon locations we now take multiple steps to ensure that we are as green as possible.

Proactive measures include recycling of metals, plastics, lacquers and oils, using environmentally friendly waterborne paints and coatings, and investment in the latest air-conditioning system using the revolutionary R1234yf gas.
